Tips for visual leaners:
Let tutees take notes during the tutoring session.
It is good idea to use a blackboard or notepaper for both of you to write questions and answers.
Advise learners to use color-coded highlighting.
Employ graph paper to help tutees create charts and diagrams that show key points.
Tell your learners to use mnemonics, acronyms, visual chains, and mind maps.
Ask them to use the computer to organize materials and to create graphs, tables, charts, and spreadsheets.
Have the tutees organize the material.
Employ visual analogies. Try to use photographs.
